*Important Note! I opted to use my Revlon Colorstay foundation because of its staying power. I honestly didnt realize it had an SPF in it. Doh! Do not use a makeup w/ SPF for your wedding. The flash photography will reflect on the product unflatteringly. So use a long wearing foundation without SPF, if you can find it.* Anyway,this look is a classic vintage makeup suitable for vintage weddings styled after the 40's and 50's. It works for evening or day but if you feel uncomfortable w/ the intensity of the lips and liner, feel free to soften the liner by using a brown gel liner instead of black. You can also soften the lips, while still keeping a vintage feel, by using a matte mauve shade of lipstick instead of red. If you opt for shimmer, keep it minimal so as to avoid unflattering glare under flash photography. Use shimmer on the lid only...or at the center of the lips. Avoid shimmery blushes or highlighters as well.
